KLA Foundation

The KLA foundation is the philanthropic arm of the KLA Corporation. It supports the development of a new era of business leaders by investing in community initiatives that increase workplace diversity, facilitate access to quality education and enrich our local communities worldwide.

LUX Manufacturing

LUX Manufacturing specializes in CNC mill work – both short run prototype and longer production runs. The CNC work is complemented with the capability of shorter run manual mill and lathe jobs. LUX provides our team with machining services and also mentors TKO members to be able to operate machinery.


Campbell Metal Supply is a supplier of aluminum and stainless steel, originally located in Campbell, California, but moved to San Jose in 2003. Campbell Metal Supply focuses on supplying quality aluminum and stainless steel to the local machine shop industry. Knowing firsthand how critical lead time and quality are, founder Joe Herr has always placed his utmost focus on quality products.

Deep Ocean Exploration and Research (DOER) was founded in 1992 by Dr. Sylvia Earle as a marine consulting firm. DOER addresses client needs from basic consulting to full analysis and implementation of solutions for even the most challenging underwater tasks.

Metal Werx are metal supply specialists who stock and source alloys for customers. They supply our team with a variety of metals for each of our robots and projects. In addition, Metal Werx helps advise each of TKO’s projects in order to ensure a successful robot is built.
